Hi, I'm Ericka. I hail from a sub-region of the Sonoran Desert. I work as a communications designer but occasionally moonlight as a photographer.
STUDY
I studied fine arts at UC Berkeley and lived in San Francisco for 10 years while I worked for non-profits and tech.
EXPERIENCE
I spent 5 years working as a product designer and made my exit when I saw the AI bubble grow; that's when I figured it was time to join organizers fighting for a just Lithium Valley. I previously led communications strategy at IVEJ, a non-profit with headquarters 3 blocks away from the US-Mexico border. My job was to help community better understand what we did and why we did it. Now I'm working on launching a small design studio. Stay tuned.
